Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end for Snowflake Cortex Code products, including agentic workflows and coding harnesses
• Build enterprise-grade context engineering, function calling, tool schemas, and guardrails
• Design evaluation pipelines, create golden sets, and run experiments to optimize metrics
• Partner with product and infrastructure teams to translate customer problems into production-ready products
• Collaborate with an elite engineering team to build high-impact AI products

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience shipping AI features in production
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or Go
• Strong communication and collaborative skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher
• Experience with data engineering pipelines (dbt, Airflow), data modeling, or retrieval systems
• Deep experience with agentic coding tools (IDE or CLI agents)
• Background in LLM observability, eval harnesses, or safety guardrails
