Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on LLM-powered agents that coordinate across engineering disciplines and generate structured deliverables
• Own the agent orchestration layer and evaluate new frameworks and patterns
• Implement tool-use patterns connecting agents to external systems via APIs
• Design and tune prompts, chains, and retrieval strategies for agent reliability
• Build evaluation and observability infrastructure including tracing and cost tracking
• Develop streaming agent interfaces for real-time progress and reasoning transparency
• Collaborate with frontend and backend engineers on UX and data pipelines

Requirements

• 5+ years of production software engineering experience
• 2+ years focused on LLM-based applications or agent systems
• Proficiency with Python in production environments
• Hands-on experience with agentic frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGen
• Strong understanding of RAG, prompt engineering, and tool calling
• Experience with background job/async task pipelines like Celery or Temporal
• Experience building multi-agent systems with planning and delegation
• Proficiency using AI coding tools like Cursor or Copilot

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LangChain's DeepAgent or LangGraph
• Familiarity with vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, or pgvector
• Background in LLM evaluation frameworks and automated scoring
• Experience with model serving infrastructure or fine-tuning
• TypeScript/React fluency
• Familiarity with hardware development or engineering workflows
