Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and productionize agent workflows end-to-end including APIs, tools, evals, and monitoring
• Create safety, cost, and latency controls and build dashboards and alerts for reliability
• Partner with product and design teams to invent and ship new interaction patterns
• Document patterns and mentor engineers on best practices for LLM-powered features

Requirements

• Experience with agentic systems including function/tool calling, multi-step planning, routing, memory, and retrieval
• Engineering-first mindset with ability to wire up services, craft eval harnesses, and debug latency/cost at scale
• Broad LLM knowledge including model comparison, prompt strategies, and guardrail techniques
• Product focus with experience instrumenting outcomes, running A/Bs, and iterating on task success rates
• Deep understanding of the technological landscape to make high-level and granular design decisions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with workflow engines such as Temporal
• Comfort in full stack engineering
