Prosper is building the most advanced conversational AI agents for healthcare — human-like phone agents that handle the administrative work draining the system. Headquartered in New York with an office in Barcelona, we work with dozens of large and enterprise healthcare organizations.
Responsibilities
- Design and scale the platform, including low-latency speech/LLM pipelines and orchestration layers
- Build reliability systems for real-time AI voice agents
- Engineer systems that reason under strong latency constraints and adapt to high-stakes healthcare conversations
- Deploy AI voice agents to handle thousands of daily phone calls
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience building products end-to-end
- Experience architecting solutions and deploying production-grade software
- Strong understanding of FastAPI (Python) and PostgreSQL backend
- Experience with React (TypeScript) frontend
- Experience managing large scale distributed systems with asynchronous workload orchestration
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, or other ML models
- Experience with Pipecat
