Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship AI-powered automation tools and internal applications
• Architect and maintain LLM-based systems, including prompt pipelines, agentic workflows, and RAG setups
• Build and maintain data pipelines connecting source systems like Snowflake and internal APIs to AI workflows
• Partner with Process Analysts to translate business requirements into engineering specifications
• Own production reliability for AI systems through monitoring, alerting, and output iteration
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI tooling, models, and frameworks
• Contribute to internal standards for prompt management, evaluation, and system architecture

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience designing and deploying LLM-based or AI-powered applications in production
• Strong Python skills for building APIs, data pipelines, and backend services
• Practical experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic) and agentic patterns
• Familiarity with SQL, data transformation, and cloud data warehouses like Snowflake
• Experience with workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect) and AWS
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-moving environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search
