Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy scalable integrations across enterprise systems including Salesforce, NetSuite, Slack, and Okta
• Own and operate the MCP Gateway as a central AI integration platform, building reusable connectors and ensuring reliability
• Develop AI-powered workflows and tools utilizing LLMs, agents, RAG, and function calling
• Implement solutions via iPaaS tools (Workato, Zapier, Make, Tray) or custom APIs using Python and Node.js
• Deliver MVP-first solutions, iterating based on stakeholder feedback to drive organizational automation
• Ensure system reliability and security through robust monitoring, authentication, and responsible AI practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, GTM, CS, and Security teams to translate business needs into technical solutions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in integrations, MIS, or systems engineering within SaaS environments
• Strong API expertise, including REST, GraphQL, and webhooks
• Proficiency in Python or JavaScript (Node.js / TypeScript)
• Hands-on experience with iPaaS platforms such as Workato, Zapier, Make, or Tray
• Practical experience building AI-powered workflows or tools
• Solid understanding of LLM systems, orchestration, and integration patterns
• Familiarity with enterprise systems (Salesforce, Okta, NetSuite, Google Workspace)
• Understanding of IAM, OAuth, API security, and compliance standards (SOC2, ISO, GDPR)
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with an iterative, problem-solving mindset

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) or similar API mediation frameworks
• Experience with event-driven architectures or complex data pipelines
• Relevant professional certifications in Okta, Salesforce, or Workato
