Senior AI Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI platform capabilities on Azure, focusing on agentic AI patterns like orchestration and tool integration
• Contribute to the Agentic AI Platform initiative to define how agents are built and operated across the organization
• Maintain standardized templates and reference implementations for LLM and Generative AI workflows
• Implement secure, governed access patterns for LLMs using APIM, Entra ID, and RBAC
• Contribute to LLMOps and model runtime patterns including routing, caching, and token optimization
• Support lifecycle and evaluation practices for agent configurations and prompts
• Design secure tool-access patterns and enterprise API integration
• Contribute to AgentOps and GenAIOps capabilities including telemetry and error analysis
• Apply CI/CD and software engineering best practices to AI platform components
• Partner with Cloud Infrastructure and Security teams to design scalable Azure environments

Requirements

• Significant experience as an AI Engineer or AI Platform Engineer delivering production-grade systems
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and agent-based systems
• High proficiency in Python and experience building APIs
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Practical experience with observability tooling (logging, metrics, tracing)
• Proficiency working in cloud environments, preferably Azure
• Familiarity with AgentOps, MLOps, or GenAIOps concepts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure AI Foundry
• Experience with Azure API Management (APIM)
