About the role
Responsibilities
- Design and build generative AI applications tailored to complex financial and legal workflows
- Drive end to end model development lifecycle, including reproducible research and deployment
- Collaborate cross functionally to understand business problems and mentor teammates
- Translate complex problems into well-defined scoped bets in a fast-paced environment
- Apply ground-breaking research and approaches in advanced AI topics
- Lead the adoption of AI throughout the organization
Requirements
- Deep experience with open-weight LLMs (Llama, Qwen, Mistral, Gemma)
- Expertise in supervised fine-tuning, preference optimisation, and instruction tuning
- Experience building high-quality datasets and synthetic training data
- Ability to design rigorous benchmarks and evaluation frameworks
- Experience applying AI to complex financial or legal domains
- Familiarity with distributed training, GPU optimisation, and inference acceleration
- Experience with model distillation and quantisation
- Proficiency in Python for production-ready delivery
- Knowledge of AWS AI infrastructure
