Senior AI & Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain intelligent chatbots and AI agents using platforms like Moveworks, Glean, or Microsoft Power Virtual Agents.
• Build and manage Python-based automation scripts, backend services, and microservices to support AI-driven workflows.
• Implement and optimize LLM-powered solutions, including prompt engineering, conversational design, and contextual reasoning.
• Apply agentic AI concepts, including tool usage, multi-step reasoning, orchestration patterns, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Develop REST APIs to integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems such as ServiceNow, Workday, and Microsoft 365.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize AI agent performance, reliability, and response accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Mentor junior developers and support engineers transitioning into AI and automation development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience building conversational AI or virtual agent solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Python for automation and backend development.
• Solid understanding of NLP, LLM-based systems, prompt engineering, agentic AI, and Model Context Protocol (MCP).
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise platforms using REST APIs and microservices.
• Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum development teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Moveworks, Glean, or similar enterprise AI platforms.
• Familiarity with ChatGPT Enterprise or other enterprise LLM deployments.
• Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, or low-code/no-code platforms.
• Exposure to LLMOps practices for monitoring and optimizing AI systems in production.
