Senior Agile IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic-related project initiatives including implementation, optimization, integration, and upgrades using Agile principles
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Epic analysts, IT engineers, clinical staff, and leadership
• Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Serve as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure clear communication
• Document and track user stories, acceptance criteria, and requirements using tools like Jira or Azure DevOps
• Maintain alignment with HIPAA compliance standards and change management best practices
• Deliver timely status reports and project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT project management experience
• At least 2 years focused on Epic EMR-related projects
• Solid understanding of Epic modules such as Resolute, Cadence, or Prelude
• Strong working knowledge of Agile frameworks like Scrum or Kanban
• Proven experience leading Agile teams in a healthcare or consulting environment
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
• Previous consulting experience with healthcare IT or digital transformation
• Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Trello, or Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, or other healthcare integration standards
