Responsibilities

• Aero-design of aero-engine components using meanline design tools and CFD simulations
• Develop and implement automated optimization workflows including DOE and Multi-Objective Optimization
• Analyze test data and compare it to numerical simulation results
• Develop turbomachinery design tools and methods
• Collaborate with combustion, mechanical design, and stress analysis teams
• Mentor less experienced engineers
• Participate in and present in design reviews
• Document work in technical reports and specifications

Requirements

• MSc in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or equivalent
• Over 7 years of experience in flow path design and analysis of jet engines or gas turbines
• Experience using meanline design tools for compressors and turbines
• Proficiency in CFD simulations of turbomachinery, preferably Star-CCM+
• Proficiency in optimization tools such as Axstream or Turbodesign Optima
• English language proficiency at CEFR level C1
• Experience in product development processes including gate reviews

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in heat transfer calculations
• Experience in conjugate heat transfer simulations
