About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and drive companywide standards and certification requirements for Aerospace, Defense, and Government (ADG) segments
- Lead AS9100 certification and QML/MIL-PRF-38535 conformance for the organization worldwide
- Establish and implement defense-specific risk management, traceability, configuration management, and governance processes
- Review contracts to ensure effective flow-down of quality and regulatory clauses
- Support export compliance and controlled data handling in partnership with Legal and Compliance teams
- Integrate ADG requirements into the product lifecycle, including design reviews, verification, validation, and failure analysis
- Drive the establishment of KPIs and metrics to measure ADG compliance maturity
- Support internal audits, third-party accreditation audits, and customer or government approval audits
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the semiconductor industry or aerospace/defense quality systems
- In-depth knowledge of AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949, and QML/MIL-PRF-38535
- Working knowledge of DFAR, ITAR, and EAR export controls
- Experience leading Quality Management System (QMS) internal and external audits (third-party certification bodies, customers, and vendors)
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven track record enabling ADG QMS, compliance, and certification within a semiconductor environment
- Experience as an ISO9001, AS9100, or IATF16949 Lead Auditor
- Experience working with FPGA or complex SoC product environments
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Black Belt, or equivalent certification
- Experience collaborating directly with Tier 1 ADG suppliers
