Senior Aerodynamics Engineer (Thermal)

Responsibilities

• Develop aerodynamic cooling solutions for PU, electronics, and other thermal systems
• Analyse test data from rigs, tunnels, and tracks to deliver car performance
• Build understanding of aerodynamic structures and behaviours to inform thermal strategies
• Collaborate with management and engineering teams to deliver aerodynamic thermal development plans
• Improve design, testing, and analysis processes by implementing new methods and tools

Requirements

• Experience in motorsport with a focus on aero-thermal management of powertrain or electronics
• Strong understanding of fluid dynamics and thermal principles
• Hands-on experience in 3D CFD (Star-CCM+ preferred)
• Experience with 1D simulation tools such as GT-Suite or Dymola
• Experience modelling full vehicle systems and sub-components
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA/3DExperience preferred)
