Senior Aerodynamics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver aerodynamic performance to the race car by analyzing CFD and wind tunnel data
• Build an understanding of aerodynamic structures and behaviors around the race car
• Work with management groups to construct and communicate aerodynamic development plans
• Implement new methods to improve efficiency of aerodynamic design, testing, and analysis
• Contribute to collaborative discussions to improve whole-car performance
• Communicate key findings, opportunities, and threats to the Lead Engineer

Requirements

• Degree in Aerodynamics, Aeronautics, or a relevant discipline
• Strong understanding of Formula 1® Technical Regulations
• Excellent knowledge of CFD methods and data analysis
• Experience leading and managing aerodynamic development projects
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software, preferably 3DExperience or CATIA
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills for team management
• Excellent communication skills and IT proficiency
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours during the race season
