Senior Advisor, OT Governance and Compliance

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the OT governance and compliance strategy, ensuring alignment with NERC CIP requirements and internal policies
• Own the OT risk management process, identifying cybersecurity risks, control gaps, and mitigation plans
• Develop and maintain governance documentation, including OT-specific policies, standards, and procedures
• Prepare executive-level reports to communicate program status, audit outcomes, and emerging risks
• Serve as the primary liaison between OT teams, regulatory bodies, and internal audit functions
• Lead team-wide projects, training, and mentoring initiatives

Requirements

• University Degree with 4-8 years of domain experience (or Masters with 2-6 years, or Doctorate with 0-4 years)
• Strong understanding of OT system architectures, including SCADA, ICS networks, and remote access technologies
• Expertise in MS Office and Adobe PDF toolsets
• Experience with GRC Platforms
• Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills
• Strong leadership and project management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, ISA/IEC 62443, and ISO 27001
• Experience in the green energy or utilities domain
• Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
• Experience interacting with regulators and executive leadership
