About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and ensure proper coordination with other NYCHA departments
- Identify program interface pain points and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate the turnover of relocation units with the Special Repair Projects program
- Coordinate HQS inspections with the Leased Housing Department
- Coordinate with Operations and Healthy Homes on closing out work orders
- Conduct meetings with program staff, contractors, and other NYCHA departments
- Support the development and presentation of status updates and reports to senior leadership
- Cultivate relationships with internal NYCHA teams to ensure cross-divisional collaboration
Requirements
- High school diploma and 6 years of progressively responsible experience in real property management, including 18 months in a managerial capacity
- OR a baccalaureate degree and 4 years of relevant experience, including 18 months in a managerial capacity
- Experience must include both renting and operating managed properties
- Experience in building construction, renovation, or site management preferred
- Proven ability in stakeholder management and cross-functional teaming
