About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and ensure proper coordination with other NYCHA departments
  • Identify program interface pain points and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate the turnover of relocation units with the Special Repair Projects program
  • Coordinate HQS inspections with the Leased Housing Department
  • Coordinate with Operations and Healthy Homes on closing out work orders
  • Conduct meetings with program staff, contractors, and other NYCHA departments
  • Support the development and presentation of status updates and reports to senior leadership
  • Cultivate relationships with internal NYCHA teams to ensure cross-divisional collaboration

Requirements

  • High school diploma and 6 years of progressively responsible experience in real property management, including 18 months in a managerial capacity
  • OR a baccalaureate degree and 4 years of relevant experience, including 18 months in a managerial capacity
  • Experience must include both renting and operating managed properties
  • Experience in building construction, renovation, or site management preferred
  • Proven ability in stakeholder management and cross-functional teaming
