Senior Advisor, Data Engineering

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable relational, non-relational, and Graph data models to map complex customer data points.
• Build and maintain data pipelines that support Agentic AI systems, ensuring low-latency access to knowledge bases and vector stores.
• Architect robust ETL/ELT processes and orchestrate complex workflows using Apache Airflow, Kafka, and Spark.
• Act as a technical leader and bridge between data engineering, data science, and AI teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion modern engineering best practices.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Spark jobs, distributed databases, and Graph queries.

Requirements

• 8 to 12 years of experience in data engineering, backend automation, and advanced data architecture.
• High proficiency in Python and advanced SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Graph databases such as Neo4j, TigerGraph, or AWS Neptune.
• Extensive experience with PySpark.
• Strong experience with Apache Airflow and version control using Git.
• Exposure to LLM orchestration frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI.
• Proven leadership experience mentoring junior engineers and leading project squads.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field.
• Professional certifications in data engineering or cloud services.
