Senior Advanced Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives and governance across ERP, ITSM, CRM, and enterprise engineering tool support services.
• Provide end-to-end support for MCAD/ECAD tools, including installation, troubleshooting, access, and license management.
• Collaborate with leadership, engineering SMEs, and product vendors on tool improvements, packaging, and deployment.
• Manage daily operations and team workloads in alignment with established SLAs.
• Drive process automation and standardization to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Create and maintain installation scripts and automate deployment processes for application upgrades.
• Monitor and address middleware, TLS/SSL, and server-side vulnerabilities for COTS tools.
• Provide operational support across India (IST) and USA (MST) time zones.
• Manage license optimization, quarterly upgrade planning, and CMDB compliance.

Requirements

• 12+ years of IT experience supporting mechanical and electrical application operations.
• Expertise in CAD/CAE/ECAD platforms and engineering software ecosystems.
• Proven experience in software inventory, change management, and server license configuration.
• Strong background in vulnerability management and infrastructure migrations.
• Demonstrated leadership skills in managing teams and cross-functional service delivery.
• Proficiency in process improvement, automation, and systems integration.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical documentation skills.
