Senior Advanced Production QA Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct design and development audits at Honeywell Aerospace sites and internal/external supplier sites
• Participate in all product life cycle phases from concept through production to ensure process compliance
• Assess engineering activities and track non-conformances regarding software, hardware, and system standards
• Ensure engineering activities comply with regulatory and industry standards including AS9100, DO-178, and DO-254
• Provide guidance to engineering teams and project management regarding design and development compliance
• Interface with regulatory personnel and external customers during site assessments
• Support supplier quality organizations to ensure alignment with customer requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Aerospace, Systems, Software, Hardware, or a related engineering field
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in engineering development or quality assurance auditing
• U.S. Person status required (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or protected status)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance in compliance with U.S. export laws

Preferred Qualifications

• Working knowledge of aerospace standards such as DO-178, DO-254, AS9100, AS9115, and ARP-4754A
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring engineering development activities on complex projects
• Strong auditing skills and the ability to convey complex technical messages clearly
• Proven ability to work independently and manage coordination with external departments
