Senior Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute advanced mechanical design projects for complex aerospace gas turbine engines and power generation systems.
• Drive composite designs and develop innovative solutions from concept through to production.
• Create, revise, and validate 3D CAD models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Prepare and deliver design reviews and document work for internal, regulatory, and customer consumption.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and analytical teams, to meet project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and apply Six Sigma methodologies to improve design efficiency and reduce cycle time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional mechanical design engineering experience.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling and 2D drawing creation.
• Strong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) practices.
• Experience working with Siemens NX and Teamcenter is highly desirable.
