About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead manufacturing process development for new product introduction (NPI) from concept to production readiness
  • Develop, optimize, and validate manufacturing processes including feasibility assessments and IQ/OQ/PQ execution
  • Ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 13485, and GMP requirements
  • Support equipment strategy, including selection, specification development, and qualification activities
  • Partner cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, and Operations to implement DFM/DFA principles
  • Provide engineering leadership during pilot builds and drive continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product/process development or manufacturing engineering within the medical device industry
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Proven expertise in process validation (IQ/OQ/PQ) and NPI execution
  • Strong understanding of DFM/DFA principles and manufacturing scale-up
  • Experience working within regulated environments (FDA, ISO 13485, GMP)
  • Experience with injection molding, injection overmolding, or polymer processing preferred
