Senior Advanced Embedded Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and architecture of complex embedded software solutions for avionics systems.
• Analyze customer and operational requirements to define software architecture and capture requirements.
• Develop, validate, and verify software-level requirements for flight deck avionic programs.
• Perform integration, functional testing, and conduct detailed design reviews.
• Identify and debug issues at the system level, including troubleshooting software interfaces and performance problems.
• Drive subsystem and system integration, simulation bench activities, and coordinate with diverse, geographically distributed teams.
• Interface with various stakeholders, including Equipment Engineering Teams and Customer Engineering Leads.
• Manage development efforts based on priorities, availability, and program commitments.

Requirements

• BE/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech degree.
• 8 to 14 years of professional experience in Aerospace systems.
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Extensive experience with Avionics Software and Certification standards, specifically DO-178B/C and ARP4754.
• Hands-on experience with Model Based Development, A661 systems, and SCADE modelling.
• Proficiency with Agile development processes and tools such as JIRA, DOORS, BitBucket, or SVN.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
