About the role

Responsibilities

  • Implement core programs across Economic Stability, Education, Health & Wellness, and Community Building
  • Coordinate and oversee social gatherings, arts and crafts, exercise, and educational workshops for seniors
  • Conduct outreach and surveys to identify resident needs
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with local providers and nonprofit partners
  • Provide residents with information and referrals to community resources
  • Support food distribution needs and manage food bank partnerships
  • Recruit, train, and oversee volunteers and interns
  • Collect and submit program outcomes data to measure social impact
  • Publish monthly newsletters and event calendars

Requirements

  • Bilingual Mandarin fluency required
  • Four years of experience in multi-family housing, social services, or community outreach; or a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Human Services
  • Minimum one year experience in senior programming and serving diverse populations
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Publisher, Outlook)
  • Valid Driver’s License, clean driving record, and current automobile insurance
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Ability to obtain CPR & First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
