Senior Actuarial Consultant

Responsibilities

• Work on high-value projects involving IFRS17 modeling (best estimate, risk adjustment, yield curves) and financial strategy implementation.
• Support Solvency 2 requirements, including Pillar I, ORSA, and actuarial function reporting through calculation production and review.
• Provide actuarial expertise for annual audits of technical provisions (FR GAAP, IFRS, Solvency 2).
• Conduct due diligence and portfolio valuations for Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) projects.
• Review and improve actuarial business processes, including pricing, provisioning, and risk management using new technologies like RPA and BPM.
• Mentor and supervise junior actuarial profiles and contribute to the development of the Business Unit.

Requirements

• Degree in Actuarial Science or Engineering from a major school.
• Proven successful experience in Actuarial roles, ideally within a consulting firm or a major insurance company.
• Strong analytical skills and a capacity for synthesis.
• Fluency in both French and English (written and oral).
• Proactive, rigorous, and a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.
