Senior Actuarial Analyst, Pricing

Responsibilities

• Manage overall program profitability and improve pricing accuracy
• Work cross-functionally with Insurance & Tech Product, Underwriting, Claims, and Decision Engine teams
• Lead and support pricing and underwriting related initiatives
• Quantify the impacts and implications of initiatives on the business
• Perform quarterly rate indications and present recommendations to stakeholders
• Develop proposals to modify Cyber rate plans and evaluate business impact
• Improve the depth and efficiency of rate indication processes via automation
• Analyze customer acquisition and retention data to understand business economics

Requirements

• Experience evaluating portfolio profitability using actuarial techniques
• Experience working cross-functionally with underwriting, product, or data science teams
• Proven ability to develop tools to automate processes or improve product visibility
• Experience analyzing competitor rating plans
• Passed 4+ actuarial exams (ACAS, FCAS, or equivalent)
• Proficiency with Excel and SQL
• Experience with Python and/or R

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep understanding of cyber and tech insurance risk
• Strong business acumen and research skills
