Senior Actuarial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Perform reserve reviews for Group results across diverse business lines, with an initial focus on casualty and accident & health.
• Conduct statutory reserve reviews and provide support on ERM to meet local regulatory requirements.
• Present proposed financial results to product heads and senior actuaries for review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to enhance profitability.
• Enhance data analytical capabilities and processing efficiency to support the growth of Asia Pacific portfolios.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in a reserving or corporate actuarial role within general insurance.
• Part-qualified actuary with demonstrated progression towards full qualification.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
• Experience working within the general insurance sector.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Property & Casualty (P&C) business lines.
• Proficiency in programming languages, specifically Python, to enhance data processing.
