Senior Accounts Payable Specialist II

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process accounts payable for both Purchase Order and Non-Purchase Order invoices, enforcing three-way matches.
• Supervise, train, and act as a team leader for Accounts Payable Specialists I and II.
• Manage vendor relations, including statement verification, dispute resolution, and utility account monitoring.
• Process employee expense reports, check-runs, and credit card payments with high accuracy.
• Support month-end and annual close processes, including audits and financial reconciliations.
• Assist in implementing new automation systems for paperless record-keeping and payment processing.
• Segregate costs across business units, legal entities, and international accounts.

Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of related Accounts Payable experience.
• Proven experience working with ERP and financial systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite, specifically MS Excel.
• Strong mathematical, statistical, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Experience with international payables and intercompany transactions.
• Demonstrated ability to design and maintain electronic spreadsheets and databases.
