Senior Accounts Associate

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate books of accounts, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded
• Oversee GST compliance, including computation, return filing, and reconciliation with 2A/2B
• Manage TDS calculations, payments, and filing of returns as per statutory timelines
• Prepare and verify Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS) and other periodic reconciliations
• Assist in preparing Profit & Loss statements, balance sheet schedules, and other reports for finalization
• Support the finalization of accounts in coordination with management and auditors
• Liaise with auditors, consultants, and internal stakeholders for statutory and internal audits
• Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
• Maintain proper documentation and backup for all accounting entries and compliance records

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, preferably with exposure to corporate-style operations
• Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel is essential
• Strong understanding of GST, TDS, and finalization processes
• Meticulous attention to detail with an organized and methodical work style
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high levels of accuracy and accountability
