Senior Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Manage internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions
• Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
• Produce periodic financial reports in compliance with GAAP or financial reporting standards
• Handle tax planning and file annual corporate tax returns
• Audit accounts for state and federal compliance and coordinate with external auditors
• Present recommendations to management regarding financial objectives and policies
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government requirements
• Conduct thorough and timely financial audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Commerce
• 7+ years of accounting or finance experience
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and ERP systems
• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Experience working at a large company
