Senior Accounting Specialist

Responsibilities

• Perform monthly closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and amortization
• Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules and P&L analysis
• Handle accounting treatment for loan disbursement, repayment, and interest income
• Reconcile loan system data against GL, bank statements, and operational reports
• Perform daily and monthly reconciliation for bank, escrow, AR/AP, and settlement accounts
• Support ECL calculation, loan impairment booking, and write-offs
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for external auditors
• Improve accounting SOPs, reconciliation templates, and closing checklists

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years experience in accounting, audit, or finance
• Experience in financial services (P2P lending, fintech, bank, or leasing preferred)
• Strong understanding of PSAK/IFRS regarding financial instruments and revenue recognition
• Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills (pivot, lookup, sumifs, data validation)
• Experience working with high-volume transaction data
• Ability to meet tight monthly closing deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 or mid-tier audit background
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
• Familiarity with SQL, Looker, or basic data extraction
• Understanding of OJK lending/multifinance reporting
