Senior Accounting Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert within the banking operations team, leading investigations into complex operational issues.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end closing through thorough investigation and documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve inquiries and manage bank and merchant-related documentation.
• Serve as a cash project expert, providing specialized support and insights for various initiatives.
• Identify and support process improvement opportunities and workflow enhancements.
• Conduct quality reviews to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Assist with onboarding, training, and knowledge-sharing to support team development.
• Support the Manager in ensuring operational continuity, service excellence, and assisting with audits.

Requirements

• Finance and Accounting post-secondary education.
• 3+ years of experience in general accounting.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in training and developing team members.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of banking products and services.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
