Senior Accounting Operations Generalist

Responsibilities

• Own the full Accounts Receivable cycle including invoicing, collections, cash application, and dispute resolution
• Automate repeatable accounting tasks using AI tools and software like NetSuite or Zip
• Lead the transformation of accounting operations toward AI-native workflows
• Manage group accounting for AR across Aiven Oy and its international subsidiaries
• Support general ledger functions including month-end close, reconciliations, and statutory audits
• Drive process documentation and standardization to reduce manual effort
• Collaborate with FP&A, Legal, IT, and commercial teams to optimize the order-to-cash cycle

Requirements

• Proven experience using AI tools to automate or simplify accounting processes
• Relevant degree in accounting or finance
• Hands-on experience owning an Accounts Receivable function
• Working knowledge of Finnish GAAP and Finnish tax law
• Proficiency with NetSuite preferred
• Full professional proficiency in English
• High standards for data quality and precision
