Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Establish foundational accounting systems, processes, and controls from the ground up
• Optimize NetSuite workflows with a focus on automation and clean data flows between internal databases and external providers
• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations including payroll, AP, AR, and expense management
• Partner with the Head of Finance on audit preparation and external advisor coordination
• Collaborate with Marketplace Engineering to inform product features and translate business activity into reliable financial data
• Build and lead a high-performing accounting team as the company scales

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in high-growth or VC-backed technology companies
• 1+ year of experience managing or mentoring accounting professionals
• Deep, hands-on experience with NetSuite
• Strong technical accounting foundation and ability to design scalable, automated processes

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Big 4 public accounting experience
• Experience in marketplace, fintech, digital assets, or infrastructure-heavy businesses
• International accounting exposure
