Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and execute month-end close processes across multiple client accounts
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities
• Prepare and review financial statements and supporting workpapers
• Process payroll accurately and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
• Prepare and file U.S. state sales tax returns
• Develop custom financial reports and dashboards for business owners
• Review and document accounting workflows and procedures to improve efficiency
• Serve as a trusted accounting partner to business owners

Requirements

• 5–10 years of accounting and finance experience
• Experience supporting multiple U.S.-based clients simultaneously
• Strong experience working with U.S. GAAP
• Advanced QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop/Enterprise experience
• Experience with Bill.com, Ramp, or similar AP automation tools
• Experience with payroll platforms such as Gusto, ADP, or Paylocity
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH)
• Excellent spoken and written English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting blue-collar service businesses (HVAC, Plumbing, Construction, etc.)
• Experience in Outsourced Accounting, Client Accounting Services (CAS), or CPA firms
• Demonstrated employment stability with multi-year tenure
