Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the month-end close process across multiple business entities and locations
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and P&L reporting by business unit
• Perform and review bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversee accounts receivable processes and monitor outstanding balances
• Review weekly multi-location payroll reports for accuracy and consistency
• Execute audit procedures and support internal and external audit activities
• Evaluate and test internal controls to ensure financial processes operate effectively
• Develop recommendations to improve reporting accuracy and operational efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Proven experience managing the full month-end close process
• Strong experience with multi-location or multi-entity accounting environments
• Expert-level proficiency with QuickBooks Online
• Working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills including advanced formulas and data analysis
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• 2–4 years of public accounting or external audit experience
• Experience working within private equity-backed or high-growth organizations
• Background in construction, home services, plumbing, or HVAC industries
