Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions
• Take full ownership of monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities and timelines
• Prepare and review balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations
• Manage intercompany billings, cross-entity ledger reconciliations, and multi-currency transactions
• Partner with FP&A to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Manage one direct report overseeing AP and T&E functions
• Act as primary contact for Ford’s corporate finance teams and external tax advisors
• Support internal controls, documentation, and SOX compliance efforts
• Serve as a functional power user for NetSuite to optimize accounting workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 7+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience
• Proven track record of driving monthly close cycles independently
• Direct, hands-on proficiency in NetSuite
• Advanced capabilities in Google Sheets and Excel
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and balance sheet reconciliations
• Experience supporting multi-entity structures and intercompany billing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Active CPA designation
• Experience in public accounting (Big 4 or regional firm)
• Experience in fast-paced technology, startup, or automotive/engineering environments
• Experience with multi-entity consolidations and currency revaluations
• Experience supporting SOX compliance and internal controls
