Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close across key global accounting areas, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strong control execution
• Lead and develop a small team, coaching through work and raising review quality
• Lead the adoption of AI and automation across core close areas using tools like Databricks
• Apply U.S. GAAP judgment to complex areas including cloud infrastructure spend, vendor spend, and leases
• Own balance sheet integrity, including reconciliations, flux analysis, and variance explanations
• Partner with Finance Transformation team to redesign processes and improve data quality
• Strengthen SOX compliance, documentation, and accrual support
• Support external audit requests with timely documentation
• Play a key Accounting role in the SAP implementation, including process design and testing
• Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Procurement, and AP to resolve issues

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience
• 2+ years of people management experience
• CPA certification required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong U.S. GAAP technical accounting judgment
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Experience deploying or evaluating AI tools in a finance context
• Experience in high-growth technology companies preferred
• Public accounting background preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• ERP implementation experience
• Familiarity with tools like FloQast, Zip, or Emburse
• Familiarity with data platforms like Databricks
