Senior Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and quarter-end close processes for the EMEA region, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Manage accounting operations for assigned EMEA entities, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and maintaining strong internal controls
• Support the operational launch and ongoing accounting oversight of the new Poland entity in coordination with external providers
• Perform variance analysis and provide financial insights to support management decision-making
• Oversee intercompany accounting, reconciliation processes, and payroll accounting across the EMEA region
• Review and supervise the work of accounting staff, providing coaching and professional development
• Partner with external auditors and local advisors to support statutory audits and resolve findings
• Analyze and reconcile foreign exchange (FX) impacts across balance sheet and P&L accounts
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency as the organization scales

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Progressive accounting experience, preferably within multinational or high-growth environments
• Experience managing international accounting operations and working with foreign statutory requirements
• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically NetSuite
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proven people management experience with the ability to lead and develop team members
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or Polish Certified Auditor (Biegły Rewident)
• Experience with intercompany accounting, FX accounting, and payroll operations in a multinational context
