Senior Accounting Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly and quarterly lease accounting close activities, including preparation and posting of lease amortization journal entries under U.S. GAAP and IFRS
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly lease-related account reconciliations and roll-forwards
• Review new lease contracts, amendments, renewals, and terminations for appropriate accounting treatment under ASC 842 and IFRS 16
• Assist with the maintenance and administration of lease accounting software
• Support quarterly and annual financial statement disclosures related to leases
• Analyze variances in lease-related balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Support process improvements and enhancements to lease accounting workflows
• Manage fixed asset accounting activities including roll-forwards and audit requests
• Collaborate with various teams, subsidiaries, and external auditors

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience with lease accounting under ASC 842 and IFRS 16
• Minimum 4 years of experience in general ledger accounting or similar
• Bachelor's or associate's degree in accounting or a related specialization
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and IFRS accounting principles
• Experience working in an international company across multiple locations
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Strong analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working with Oracle
