Senior Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Analyze, interpret, and record financial transactions and report information
• Research and document conclusions on accounting issues using US GAAP
• Take ownership of consolidated balance sheet and income statement components
• Perform month-end closing reviews and analytical reviews
• Complete complex account reconciliations and journal entries
• Implement and document accounting operational procedures
• Ensure SOX 404 compliance for assigned areas
• Prepare quarterly and annual reporting packages for SEC filings
• Partner with stakeholders to resolve queries and participate in special projects

Requirements

• 8 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 6 years with an Advanced accounting degree
• Extensive experience in Record to Report (R2R)
• Knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, and SEC requirements
• Proficiency with Oracle or similar enterprise accounting systems
• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis
• Strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• CA, ACCA, or CPA equivalent certification
• Experience in a publicly-traded company or public accounting firm
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
