Senior Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation and compliance efforts for the year-end financial audit
• Identify opportunities to introduce AI tools and automation into accounting and billing workflows
• Execute month-end close tasks including revenue recognition, contract reviews, and GL reconciliations
• Design and deliver weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc financial reports
• Partner cross-functionally to streamline billing workflows and resolve systemic issues
• Oversee billing systems to ensure accuracy for customers and distributors
• Manage accounts receivable, aging reports, and strategic collection efforts

Requirements

• 3–4 years of progressive accounting or finance experience in billing, AR, or corporate accounting
• Strong foundational knowledge of GAAP
• AI-forward mindset with experience or curiosity in utilizing AI tools (e.g., Gemini, Claude)
• Familiarity with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, scaling SaaS/hardware environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA license or progress towards completion
• Prior experience in public accounting
• Experience with NetSuite ERP and Salesforce CRM
