Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain effective internal controls to ensure transactions follow company policies and are properly reflected on financial statements
• Act as a business partner to cross-functional teams (retail, marketing, supply chain, and operations) to explain financial impacts of business decisions
• Complete month-end close duties accurately and timely, including recording and performing variance analysis
• Prepare and review staff journal entries, G/L account reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify opportunities for streamlining accounting processes and workflows
• Support, mentor, and provide guidance to junior accounting staff
• Analyze balances to ensure accuracy and communicate unreconciled items to management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license
• Minimum 3 years of accounting and/or finance experience
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (verbal and written)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Advanced understanding of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the eCommerce, Consumer Product Goods (CPG), or Supply Chain industry
