Senior Accountant - Workday & Consolidation

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and preparation of complex financial statements, journals, and reports within an automated financial system.
• Manage and maintain the Financial Data Model (FDM), including the governance of worktags, cost centers, and organizational hierarchies.
• Support the optimization of Workday Finance through configuration testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing system maintenance.
• Execute intercompany accounting transactions, including elimination entries and reconciliation of intercompany balances.
• Support financial consolidation processes and the preparation of consolidated reporting packages.
• Develop and document internal controls to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
• Provide financial guidance and training to management and staff regarding accounting processes and Workday functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Finance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in accounting or a related field.
• Familiarity with FDM configuration and maintenance.
• Experience with intercompany accounting and financial consolidation processes.
