Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
• Perform monthly variance analyses of balance sheet and income statement accounts for management review
• Coordinate with cross-functional departments to research reconciling items and resolve transaction issues
• Perform daily and monthly cash accounting, including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting support
• Participate in financial transformation initiatives to implement process changes and best practices
• Prepare supporting documentation for annual audits and quarterly reviews
• Act as the accounting lead for company-wide expense management processes

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in public accounting or a SaaS/technology environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and operational accounting
• Advanced Excel skills with comfort working with large data sets
• Experience with general ledger accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close
• Experience with Oracle or a similar global ERP system

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification
• Experience implementing AI-driven solutions to streamline manual workflows
• Strong analytical skills and a process-oriented mindset with an interest in automation
