Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close processes using Sage Intacct
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and allocations
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
• Maintain general ledger accuracy across assigned accounts and entities
• Support intercompany accounting and recurring corporate entries
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and coding questions
• Assist with system and process improvements to strengthen close timelines and internal controls
• Support integration between accounting systems and operational platforms like BuildOps

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• 2+ years of corporate accounting, general ledger, or financial reporting experience
• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and reconciliations
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Sage Intacct
• Strong Excel skills for financial data analysis
• Ability to communicate financial information to various stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience using Sage Intacct for general ledger and reporting
• Experience with multi-entity accounting or intercompany transactions
• Experience in construction, MEP, service, or project-based accounting
• CPA or CMA eligibility or progress toward certification
