Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Manage general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal postings
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes
• Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans
• Implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures
• Provide mentorship, guidance, and coaching to junior staff
• Review and approve payment runs, expense reports, and financial transactions
• Organize workflow, delegate tasks, and monitor employee productivity
• Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 5–7 years of professional accounting experience
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and audit coordination
• Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• Proficiency in MS Office and advanced Excel skills
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite
• Strong understanding of tax, audit, and compliance standards
