Responsibilities

• Perform and lead month-end close activities including general ledger reconciliation and journal entries
• Oversee accounting staff to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables
• Ensure proper revenue, cost, and expense recognition
• Perform quarterly and annual close procedures and analyze balance sheet and income statement fluctuations
• Prepare quarterly roll-forward analyses for complex technical accounting areas like equity and capitalized software
• Assist in monthly and quarterly reporting for budget owners and the finance executive team
• Manage budget vs. actual analyses and communicate findings across departments
• Support the financial reporting process, external audits, and quarterly reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CA, or CPA
• 10+ years of accounting experience (or 6+ years for CA candidates)
• Strong knowledge and application of US GAAP
• High level of English proficiency
• Strong analytical skills and forensic attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet global deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• CA or CPA designation
• Big-4 experience or experience with SEC registered companies
• Knowledge of SEC regulations and internal controls
• Experience in auditing public companies or fast-growing technology companies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with NetSuite and Adaptive
