Senior Accountant, Statutory and Legal Entity Reporting

Responsibilities

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory and stand-alone legal entity reporting processes.
• Prepare statutory financial exhibits, footnotes, analytics, and related financial statement disclosures.
• Support statutory audit efforts and execute related work.
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities within the reporting function.
• Partner with Regulatory Relations and other internal teams to respond to regulator inquiries in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience.
• 3+ years of experience working on an accounting or reporting team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure.
• Practical experience in statutory reporting.
• Experience in a similar position at a health insurance company.
• Experience working with US-based insurance companies.
