Senior Accountant, Statutory and Legal Entity Reporting

Responsibilities

• Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual statutory and stand-alone legal entity reporting processes, including analytics and financial statement disclosures
• Execute work related to statutory audit efforts
• Prepare statutory financial exhibits, footnotes, and audited financial statements
• Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
• Partner with Regulatory Relations and other internal teams to respond to regulator inquiries in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience
• 3+ years of related experience on an accounting or reporting team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a similar position at a health insurance company
• Experience working with US-based insurance companies
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure
• Practical experience in statutory reporting
