Senior Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of Australian SME clients, acting as a trusted accounting partner.
• Ensure accurate and compliant BAS and IAS lodgements.
• Maintain clean, reconciled financial records and provide reliable monthly management reporting.
• Deliver clear financial insights and advisory services to help clients make informed business decisions.
• Collaborate with Australian tax professionals to ensure high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3+ years of experience working within an Australian accounting firm.
• Strong knowledge of Australian compliance, including BAS, GST, and general AU tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Xero.
• Proven experience managing Australian SME clients end-to-end.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for direct client interaction.
• Ability to provide deep financial insights and review work at a senior level.
